Comedia Will Ferrell iced the competition taking home the gold at the box office this weekend.  His flick, "Blades of Glory" sold $33 million in tickets since opening on Friday making it the number one pick on the silver screen in its opening weekend..

Ferrell and Jon Heder ("Napoleon Dynamite") play the world's first competitive male pairs figure skaters in an irreverent comedy that enjoyed widespread critical acclaim -- an increasing rarity for box office champs these days.

Walt Disney Co.'s animated comedy "Meet the Robinsons," opened at number two.  The third spot went to "300," with $11.2 million and last week's champ "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" fell to fourth bringing in $9.2 million.  "Wild Dogs" rounded out the top 5 snagging $8.4 million.
