Tobago worries that Elton John will turn residents gay
Religious leaders on the small Caribbean island of Tobago want Elton John banned from Plymouth Jazz Festival, because they believe Elton will try to turn the locals gay.
Philip Isaac, told London's Daily Mirror, "His visit to the island can open the country to be tempted towards pursuing his lifestyle." He adds, "The artist is one of God's children and while his lifestyle is questionable he needs to be ministered unto."
Does the whole damn Island of Tobago hates gay people? Not only does the church disagree with it, but TMZ is reporting that the country's immigration laws also make it legal to bar openly gay individuals from entering the island.
