Larry Birkhead is speaking about the controversies surround his involvement in the Anna Nicole Smith trials. He speaks out about his plans for Dannielynn and more. Here's the entire excerpt from www.larrybirkhead.net:
TO CLARIFY PUBLISHED REPORTS:
BILLS: I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENT NOR I HAVE MADE ANY COMMENT ON ANY SITUATION PERTAINING TO ANY ATTORNEY'S BILL.
TRADEMARKS: I have never requested a trademark, signed or filled out any paperwork on a trademark relating to Anna Nicole Smith, and the saying "Goodnight My Sweet Anna Baby." The form was filled out by another individual on my behalf. The form was not reviewed or approved by me.
The media is reporting that they have seen a copy of the form, please send me one as I have asked for a copy and never have received it. It does not have my signature or authorization, I am far too busy working on my fight for my daughter Dannielynn, to worry about things like trademarking sayings for use in movies, etc.
**In other words, I will seek to have this trademark withdrawn or cancelled on the grounds it was not approved by me.**
HIGH STAKES POKER: It was reported that I was playing $1500.00 a hand at the high stakes poker table in the Bahamas. FALSE. I do not even know how to play poker and I wouldn't be playing with money like that in any event.
SAVE DANNIELYN?: PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY DONATIONS TO ME FOR A LEGAL DEFENSE FUND. PREVIOUSLY, SOMEONE SET UP A "SAVE DANNIELYNN" DEFENSE FUND FOR ME (AGAIN WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION) AND SOME INDIVIDUALS SENT IN DONATIONS BEFORE THE "FUND" WAS DISCOVERED BY ME AND I DEMANDED THAT PERSON WHO INITIATED THE FUND TO IMMEDIATELY CEASE ANY UNAUTHORIZED COLLECTION ON MY BEHALF.***

It appears Larry Birkhead is defending himself and speaking to the public. He takes time to talk to people and address the issues. I find this very interesting and it seems who ever has tried smearing him with false reports, is being questioned on it. Birkhead's no fool and seems to be a decent person: I wonder if the Howard K. Stern camp was up to the false reports.

I support Larry Berkhead in his petition for paternity and complete rights to Danielynn. I beleive the baby is his and he shows the most class in this entire proceeding.
Stern acts like someone who has something to hide - such as filing an appeal the week after the DNA was taken and trying to change Bahamian law on the inquest. Birkhead, if he was using his head, would have obtained a DNA of the baby spit up when the baby spit up on his shoulder. I'm sure he did and therefore, knows he's the father for sure.
Anna Nicole left her world in chaos and denied a father his right to his baby by pretending Howard K. Stern was the baby's father. Knowing he wasn't.
What was she thinking? It appears Birkhead has been the only one really concerned about the welfare of the baby and doesn't have money as an alterior motive.

Nice job, Larry! He's a class act, and has been so since the beginning. I believe Larry will have the strength and wisdom needed to give Dannielynn the love and stability she'll need, far away from the media. With all the drugs her mom was taking, Dannielynn no doubt was born with drugs in her system, and likely has physiological and psychological issues that go with being a drug baby. She will need a lot of help to become a fully-functioning adult, and I believe that he is the right person to help guide her through any issues she may have. There's NOTHING in this world like having the support and love from one's own parent! Hang in there, Larry. The DNA results will be known soon, and that nursery will definitely be put to great use, once Dannielynn is home!

i said months ago that larry was the father and i am so glad i was right, i am so happy for the both of them, he and dannilyn are going to have a wonderful future, i only pray that virgie aurther does not try to put either one of them through anything else. it looks like larry has a great family and alot of people more than willing to help him, although i feel that he will be a fantastic father all by himself and make anna very proud. love, betsy jane

This is in response to MANDY...it's pure insanity that you think Vergie should get partial custody or that Larry should move to Texas.
First of all, there is absolutley no reason whatsoever that anyone other than the natural birth parent should get custody unless a parent is unfit...In this case he appears to be more fit than the childs birth mother (Anna Nicole) would have been and if Anna was still alive custody would have split between the two or his in full considering her drug use, no where in that scenario would Vergie be represented...so why should she be now?
second of all, just becuase you are the grandmother doesn't make you automatically fit to raise a child. Afterall, Vergie raised Anna Nicole who, frankly, was a hot mess and Vergie's other children all have serious physchological issues as well, obviously, she didn't fair too well as a parent...so why would think that she deserves partial custody or should be an intrincal part of Dannielynn's upbringing????
That's just plain stupidity, Dannielynn would clearly be better off with Larry's family as a regular, stable part of her life (and of course, if anything ever happened to him)than she would with anybody from Anna Nicole's highly dysfuntional side, grandmother or otherwise.
CONGRADULATIONS LARRY! Enjoy your daughter, (she looks just like you) raise her to be a loved, nurtured, healthy, whole human being who knows who she is, what she wants, and how to make great choices for herself (all the things Anna clearly struggled with)
