Vanessa Williams gets her star on the Walk of Fame!

Today's generation knows Vanessa Williams as one of the stars of ABC's hit TV show, "Ugly Betty." 

My generation knows her as the topless Miss America who lost her crown before blowing up as a successful actress. Now Williams is getting the recognition she deserves as she is rewarded a star on the Walk of Fame.

Producer Peter Gruber, Williams' "Ugly Betty" castmate Michael Urie and her brother Chris Williams, a cast member of the new Fox Broadcasting series "The Wedding Bells," joined Vanessa at the ceremony in front of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
