Not so many gay couples getting 'unioned' in NJ
Much to my surprise there have only been a little over 200 gay couples 'unioned' in New Jersey since the stated decided to recognize civil unions.
Civil unions are a prime example of separate but equal. If gay couples apply for civil unions, then they get the same legal benefits of marriage -- just not the title.
I just wonder why all of the gay couples are choosing not to take advantage of this new law, the closest thing to marriage offered at this time in their state.
