Lindsay Lohan's dad released from prison

After two years behind bars, Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, has been releasefrom prison.  He was serving for driving while intoxicated and other other charges.  

He was initially in trouble for attacking his brother-in-law at a party, and while awaiting sentencing on those assault charges , he was also charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle when his car went off the road. His car struck a pole and was engulfed in flames, but he was not injured.

Lindsay and her dad's people are both silent about the release.  Lindsay is back in New York for a few days, her next stop is London where she will be working on a few film.

Lindsay has primarily been under the "care" of her momager, Dina.
