Howard K. Stern Needs to Be Stopped
Stern wants for everyone to leave him alone so he can enjoy the money he's worked so hard to get by pumping Anna Nicole full of lethal drugs the entire time he was with her, fighting to keep her isolated, killing off Daniel. I mean, stuff like that takes a lot of work, creativity and preparation, it's simply not easy - imagine the law books looking for cases he'd have to be consulting. It must be exhausting for the poor man. Yes, he needs a rest. He gets an A for effort. Bravo Mr. Stern. You certainly are clever. Can anyone stop you? It's clearly murder.
Mr. Stern is not getting anywhere near the treatment he deserves, and one of the reasons why is, he is a lawyer and knows the law inside and out, he knows how far he can push; he has connections. He could commit the ultimate crime and get away with it. In fact, so far he has, and he's laughing at us all. Can he be stopped? As Anna Nicole's father said, "while no one was holding a gun to her head, someone sure did pump her with a lot of drugs; murder is murder".
Ask yourselves this: Is he a person you would trust with your son/daughter if they were about to inherit a whole lot of money. He doesn't have a good track record when it comes to those close to him, and their longevity of life. Another question: Was Daniel on to him, he had after all hired a private investigator to look into Stern. Had Stern found out and silenced him? Did Anna Nicole finally emerge from her drugged up state to finally put the pieces together and say something to Stern that got him a little upset? To say the least, Anna Nicole was not a good judge of character she did not make good decisions. She had her baby on a diet to be thin so that she'd look sexy. She chose Howard Stern to be the child's father because in doing so, she knew he'd be her drug supply. She slept with countless others, and pushed away anyone who stood up to her about her drug habit and was trying to help her. Now I realize not everyone sees it that way, just as Anna Nicole didn't, but why would a lawyer like Stern who was supposedly looking after Anna Nicole's interests allow her to get in such a state? Would anyone of us want our lawyers to do this to us? Isn't that clearly abuse? Anna Nicole seemed to view people that were trying to help her as being bad; not giving into her every whim, saying no to her. She chose Stern to look after her, and He certainly did. She chose him to look after her daughter. Doesn't that frighten you?
Now imagine, even if the baby is not Sterns and it's proven Stern committed fraud to get the baby, the man still has the nerve to try and claim her. And why you ask? For the very reason he kept Anna Nicole drugged, for the very reason he drugged Daniel - for the money of course. That's all it's about for Howard K. Money. That's all it's ever been about. If he had ever had an ounce of decency he would have ensured Anna Nicole stopped taking the drugs, he would have tried to stop her, placed a call the hospital when her fever was up over 105 instead of running around the country side looking for yachts to lounge back in, he would have tried to get her into rehab whatever it took. But no, he knew she was his meal ticket, and could be a difficult one, and dead, she was even more valuable to him. The guy never wanted Anna Nicole to get help, it would make her healthy, she wouldn't need him for drugs, she'd be on to him and she would change her patterns. He also knew that if he sought help she'd be angry with him and he would be out of the financial pciture. This was no stupid man here, this is a lawyer we're talking about. He can't claim ignorance.
If the legal system can't shut this man down, iif with all the evidence against him, it's this difficult to stop this man, the system clearly has some serious flaws, and there might as well not be a legal system, because clearly Stern has just demonstrated to the world how to get away with murder, and continue on in the legal system while he's doing so. IN fact, he might drum up even more business, for those curiosity seekers. Any single women out there who have a lot of money; beware.
But, what happens now, if Stern is able to manipulate the legal system and claim Dannielyn? When she gets a bit older, or should I say, if she gets a bit older, and puts the pieces together and questions Stern, what chance do you think she has of surviving? I laugh at the reports right now that say he's cooperating with the police. Of course he's cooperating. He knows what he has to do to get away with a crime. I'm certain he's gotten more than one criminal off. He has all the answers. He's had a lot of time to think this out. There's a lot of money at stake here. But for anyone who has a conscience, could you send this poor child to his care, without people there to watch him? This is a man who allowed Anna Nicole to take all the drugs, serious drugs like dilaudid that are only given to cancer patients in their final stages. He helped administer these drugs. There is going to be an investigation into the death of Daniel, Anna Nicole Smith's son, because his death seemed suspicious. Daniel even went as far as to hire a private investigator to check Stern out. Even if the least thing Stern is an enabler, that is a strong indication, he clearly is not capable of looking out for people, doing what's in their best interests. He's only looking out for himself. Sending Dannielyn to this man is like giving her a death sentence.
The courts/law need to be Stern with Stern. Otherwise, he's making a mockery of the law, and really what's to stop other lawyers from doing the same. If he sets a precedent here; it creates a real mess moving forward.

As a psychiatrist, I absolutely agree. In fact, I tried to alert Child Protective authorities in the Bahamas to the endangerment of Dannielynn soon after Anna Nicole died. Here is a copy of my complaint:

Dear Ms. Zonicle,
If ever there was a baby in ‘crisis’, it is the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith, Dannielynn. With more alleged ‘fathers’ coming out of the woodwork from one moment to the next, now that Ms. Smith is not alive to dispute their claims, Dannielynn is in danger. Her potential inheritance has put a billion dollar sign over her head and she is at risk of being tossed around like a football – metaphorically and literally.
As of this writing, Dannielynn is reportedly under the care of Howard K. Stern who claims to be her “presumptive” if not her biological father. In my professional opinion, this is not a safe environment for her, for the following reasons:
1. He is under investigation regarding the death of Anna Nicole’s son, Daniel
2. He has long been an enabler to Ms. Smith, rather than getting her treatment for alcohol and drug abuse
3. He recently left Ms. Smith in her hotel room, rather than calling a doctor to come to the room or calling 911, though he knew she had a fever of 105 degrees
4. He is currently in a lot of psychological turmoil: mourning Ms. Smith’s death, trying to protect himself from criminal investigation, and coping with paternity conflicts.
Therefore, Dannielynn is not in a sufficiently stable, nurturing or safe environment, especially during this time of loss of her mother, and she is at risk of being emotionally neglected and/or abused or worse. Until paternity tests are done and paternity is sorted out, perhaps the best environment would be either with Ms. Smith’s family or with monitors (baby nurse and law enforcement agent) protecting her.

I am uncertain what "money" everyone thinks Stern and Burkhead (even Vergie) are fighting over. There is no money right now. All they are fighting over is the right to fight for the baby's right to Howard Marshall's money-- IF the courts allow it. Unless that baby has Howard Marshall's DNA, I find it difficult to believe that Dannilynn is going to be an heiress anytime in the future.

Your comment "I'm certain he's gotten more than one criminal off." may not have much truth, considering he was out of law school for only about a year when he became Anna's attorney and she has been his sole client ever since - for more than a decade.
Howard is the one that anna trusted and with 2 nannies taking care of the baby how can you say she is in danger?
what about all of anna nicoles personal, private and legal documents that ford shelly stole from the mansion? Everything that was stolen or I should say some of the things that were stolen has been sold to the media. Howard should find out how much ford shelly got for the things he stole and it could possibly be enough to pay for the mansion.
anytime a house or property is in litagation the owner does not have the right to change locks and steal items from the place and then say "how can you break into your own house".

Yolanda, Anna Nicole's life was full of bad choices, with drugs, men, what she did with her daughter to try and keep her on a diet so she'd be sexy. This is not a mother I'd trust with my child, and if she's trusting Stern, with his track record, all the more reason I dont' trust him. Keep in mind Howard Stern is currently under investigation for the death of Daniel, Anna Nicole's son and a private investigator has come forward and said Daniel approached him abuot his suspiscions about Howard Stern. I think there's more to this than meets the eye, but there is a gag order right now.
The child should not be in his custody right now. Stern must be a mess as the law keeps digging deeper and deeper. Wonder what the announcement is going to be on Monday. Police said they have said there is going to be a significant announcement on Monday.

That is the most prejudiced and biased article I have seen in a while.Dude,you are only going by what you have heard.The fact is YOU have NEVER even met the guy!
While this is a certainly a prejudiced view, I can understand the concern many seem to have for Danni. I think Howard should move out of the home in the Bahamas (by himself) and perhaps Virgie can take care of Danni in the interim. That doesn't mean that I think she should have total custody.
Joe, will you still say it's prejudiced if this turns into a murder charge?
I also think Howard Stern is behind these deaths and since he was the closest person to Anna Nicole he should be held responsible for the drugs being put in her system, if they were injected especially. I also believe Anna's baby is in grave danger. I think Howard's plan is to continue fighting the Marshall's for Dannielynn (his excuse) and if any money is ever in trust for her he would dispose of her later. This is hypothetical of course, but I am positive that man has an evil plan. I think he should be held accountable in some way for his involvement in each death and I think that baby should have been immediately taken from him, I don't know why she wasn't.

Before writing a story you really need to check your facts. Dilaudid is not only given to Cancer patients in their final stages. I have been taking this medication for breakthrough pain for several years and am not a Cancer Patient. This medication has been known to be used for other Pain Patients so, please check your sources before writing a story. I have been living with a disease called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy for the past seven years and I also take Topamax as well as other pain meds and anti-depressants. I was on methadone years ago and if you take these correctly then you can lead a normal life. It is a shame that Anna Nicole was in such pain that she had to take so many different pills to help her get through the day.

I'm so glad that Howard K. Stern has hired a good Attorney to go after all these people that are telling false stories that aren't true about him. I've been wondering how long he would let it go on before doing something. Of course, the baby is doing just fine because Howard loves her and is doing the best job a person can do with Danielynn.
