Simon Cowell is flexing his music muscle with his employer, Sony BMG and using American Idol for leverage.

Simon will sit down with Anderson Cooper on Sunday's 60 Minutes, and he tells the pretty boy news anchor that he earns the most money for BMG as he brings them the winner from American Idol every year.

Cowell estimates his acts have sold more than 100 million records.  The show airs in 40 countries worldwide, and every Idol winner records through Sony BMG.
