The presidential candidate who supports gay marriage is...

Rudy Giuliani filed papers this week making him the first candidate to enter the 2008 presidential race who supports gay marriage. 

This makes it possible for the first President to support gay marriage to be a Republican.  It is almost hard to believe, but his approval rating seems to be favorable. 

This move is definitely going to make for an interesting race!
