Britney Spears has finally released a statement about not wearing panties and partying too hard! The "Oops I did It Again" singer utilized her ever popular website to clear it all up. She started with somewhat of an explanation saying, "It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. It's also been 2 years since I've even celebrated my birthday." Hello! That's mother hood pop tart! She went on, "Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far." Did she forget that she has two children? She recognizes this freedom from her estranged husband, Kevin Federline, but doesn't bother to mention who has been watching her kids. She did, however, make light of her panty problem saying, "Anyway, thank God for Victoria's Secrets' new underwear line!" Can you say promo op? I bet she has more panties than she knows what to do with now. I hear that just about every panty maker in the nation is sending her some drawers! I want Britney to have a good comeback, I really do! I just hope she hasn't screwed it all up already. Even white trash celebrities are still white trash.

Actor Wesley Snipes made his way back to the mainland today to turn himself over to police. Snipes has been in Namibia filming his latest movie, Gallow Walker when the warrant was issued in October. He is accused of skipping out on paying millions of dollars in taxes in 1996 and 1997. He says he is being unfairly targeted. If convicted he faces up to 16 years behind bars! He was released on $1 million dollars bail.

Finally, Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown says her ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy is definitely the father of the baby she is carrying. She says she can't imagine why he would publicly question the child's paternity. The two were rumored to get pregnant the first time they had sex. Sounds unlikely, but Scary Spice says there is no possible way that anyone else is the father. I also heard that Murphy didn't dump Mel B in person. She heard about it when the rest of the world did, during a Dutch TV interview that Murphy conducted while Mel was flying to states. Shady, shady, shady!

That's the gossip party for this week. Keep the party going until next weekend!

I am not sure I believe Mel B. What are the chances that he would deny the paternity if he wasn't positive it isn't his?? Eddie Murphy is a great guy. I don't think he would dodge this one.
