Tori Spelling is speaking out about motherhood and thanking her friends.

"Thank you so much for all the congratulatory messages on the arrival of Liam. Everyone has been so kind and we loved reading all your messages and comments.

We are finally out of the hospital and spent our first day at home with little Liam. Its been the most amazing week and experience of my life. We feel so blessed. Liam as many of you know was born Tuesday, March 13th. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and is 19 1/2inches long. And, I might be a biased mommy but he is so beautiful. I just stare at him in amazement. I can't believe I have been given this unbelievable little gift. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. He is my little angel baby and I had no idea you could love someone you've only known for 4 days this much. But, my heart is jumping out of my chest with love. Mommihood ROCKS!

Well, Liam needs to be fed so momma must go....love to all of you and especially every mommy out there. I have such a new found respect for you! T xoxo"

Guess that means Tori has a new found respect for her mommy, Candy Spelling too!  Little Liam has seeming brought this estranged family back together!

It looks like Tori Spelling and her mother Candy are making ammends. 

As we reported yesterday, the 33-year-old actress and her husband, Dean McDermott, welcomed Liam Aaron McDermott at a Los Angeles hospital.

"Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event," Candy Spelling was quoted as telling People. "I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."

Tori and Candy have been on the outs since Tori spoofed her mom on her VH-1 celebreality show. 

Actress Tori Spelling gave birth to her first child, a son, on Tuesday in Los Angeles.  She and husband Dean McDermott, welcomed Liam Aaron McDermott at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Access Hollywood is also reporting that Tori's mother Candy was at the hospital at the time of the delivery.  Maybe a baby HAS brought them back together!

While this is Spelling's first child, McDermott has an 8-year-old son from a previous marriage.

The couple wed in May 2006 and star in the reality series "Tori & Dean: Inn Love," which premieres March 20 on the Oxygen network.
