A rapper like Lil' Kim can survive in jail.

A housewife like Martha Stewart can even survive in jail.

But can a heiress socialite like Paris Hilton make it for 90 days in the slammer?  I'm not so sure.

All signs point to jail time for Paris Hilton for violating her probation.  When criminals violate their probation, they go to jail for a minimum of 90 days.

Can you imagine?  This tall thin silverspoon-fed model turns in her heels and fur for black and white stripes.  Paris Hilton behind bars would be a sight to see.  However, we would probably never get to see it.  We're as accustomed to seeing Hilton's every move as she is to always posing for the cameras.  No paparazzi in prison.  There might be a slight possibility that they could come in as guests on visitation days, but I'm not sure.

The LA City Attorney's Office says the courts have given her enough chances, and they insist that she goes to jail!  A hearing for her case has been scheduled for April 17th, 2007.

I wonder if Nicole Richie could hurry up and get probation, then break it so she can go to jail with Paris for Simple Life: Behind Bars?
