Paris Hilton: March 2007 Archives

Heiress-socialite Paris Hilton may be headed to jail!  It's true.  Evidently the Simple Life star violated her parole when she was pulled over on February 27 and cited for driving on a suspended license.

Hilton's license, of course, was yanked after she got stopped by cops and handed a DUI last September.

The Los Angeles City's Attorney's Office announced Thursday afternoon that Hilton violated the terms of her DUI probation, and they want her to serve at least 90 days in jail!

This may be a very good opportunity for prosecutors and cops to send out a message that these rich socialites aren't above the law.

Hilton's Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie was also pulled over by cops for a similar offense.  Richie was spotted driving down the freeway traveling towards on-coming traffic.  She admitted to drinking and smoking pot before jumping behind the wheel.

Paris' rep Elliot Mintz didn't comment saying her attornies were handling it.

Socialite heiress Paris Hilton is finally getting justice after charges are being filed against 10 airport workers and 1 transient who evidently went through her bags and stole some expensive items as she boarded a British Airways plane last year.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office has filed misdemeanor theft charges against 27-year old George Penaranda, a former baggage screener, who is of stealing a $100,000 limited-edition watch from Paris's carry-on luggage.

The City Attorney's Office claims that a coworker spotted the man snatching Paris' watch and reported the incident to a supervisor.

"Today we are sending a message to those who might consider committing a crime at LAX, be they an employee, a passenger or a visitor--you better think again," City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo said Friday during a news conference at the airport.

The charges against the 11 suspects include petty theft, grand theft and conspiracy.  If prosecuted they could spend from six months to a year in jail and be fined up to $1,000.

Socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are heading to fat camp.

The two skinny girls obviously don't need help loosing weight, the trip is for the latest installment of their reality show.

According to E!, the fifth season of the Simple Life will have the ladies working in the Southern California Hills as camp counselors.

Each week will have a theme, and E! Reps have confirmed that one episode will feature a weight loss/ fitness camp.

This should really be interesting since neither Hilton or Richie are poster kids for healthy living.

During her younger years, Nicole Richie was hooked on heroin.  It looks like she is resorting back to old ways -- sort of... this time she's evidently hooked on pills.

According to a source quoted by InTouch Weekly, Richie is not just taking pain killers.  She's also taking Adderall, a drug normally perscribed to those diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Insiders say Nicole has been using Adderall - a prescription drug normally used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and is a powerful appetite suppressant.

"She loves Adderall because she stays awake, and it makes her not want to eat," says a close pal. "And she takes it even more when she's filming."

Although her rep denies that she uses the drug, a pal says Nicole's actually increased her dosage: "She's taking more and more lately."

Richie also confessed to smoking weed when pulled over last year for driving the wrong way on the freeway.

Nicole is currently shooting the latest season of her hit reality show The Simple Life with co-star and once again best friend Paris Hilton.

Well, one thing we have learned from Anna Nicole Smith's death is that celebs can get a note for whatever they want in Hollywood.

Paris Hilton is evidently getting fired from her music label, Warner Music.  The Daily Star is reporting that the socialite heiress has "lost interest" in her pop career and is expected to be dropped within a few weeks.

A source told the newspaper: "Paris will be dropped in a matter of moments. She's totally lost interest in the project and in all honesty, her label feel very much the same."

Evidently they haven't told Paris yet, but they don't expect that she will be too upset

The Associated Press (AP) is basically a household name.  They're the people who supply tens of thousands of news outlets with the latest breaking news.

Starting on February 19th, the editors at the AP decided to ban any stories on heiress socialite Paris Hilton.

During the week of the AP's ban, her name still managed to show up in a few articles; but Paris didn't headline any stories coming from the wire service.

A few days before, the AP had written from Austria about Hilton's appearance at the Vienna Opera ball, just ahead of her 26th birthday. We didn't cover her weekend birthday bash in Las Vegas.

During "blackout week," the AP didn't mention Hilton's second birthday party at a Beverly Hills restaurant, at which a drunken friend reportedly was ejected by security after insulting Paula Abdul and Courtney Love. However, her name did slip into copy unintentionally three times, as background: in stories about Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, and even in the lead of a story about Democrats in Las Vegas.

Paris worked VERY hard to get her name back on the AP, but failed to do so before the ban was lifted after reaching the week long goal.  One day after ban was over, however, Hilton was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

She probably slept well that night knowing that she could still get her name picked up the AP though.

Paris Hilton always complains that she can't get away from the paparazzi.  Well, it looks like a judge might take care of that for her by sending her to jail.

You heard it here first on GaySocialites.com that the the heiress socialite had another run-in with the law, this time for driving on a suspended license.

In September, Hilton was pulled over for drunk driving.  As a result, she had her license suspended and was put on probation.

Little did she know, she may end up in jail for 90 days!  What happens to a reality star socialite in an all women's jail?  Use your imagination.  Now, that's hot!
