Britney Spears back in court with Kevin Federline, Laura Wasser back in the picture

britneyspearslaurawasser.jpg

Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are back in court today, and it appears that Laura Wasser is back in Brit's corner.

Wassler is evidently back on the scene to push for more custody for Spears. Laura was fierce time around, but she quit the custody case when Britney started going crazy.

Commissioner Scott Gordon had a closed meeting Tuesday with Wasser and Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan. The hearing itself is also closed to the media.

Fox News is reporting that Britney went in smiling but came out teary-eyed once. They say she was wearing a white shirt and white sandals. Federline was wearing the same tan suit he wears to everything else.

When all was said and done, there was a change to Britney's visitation rights (probably thanks to Wasser). However, neither side is talking about the developments.

Spears seemed happy leaving court even talking with reporters on the way out. I guess it is good to have the Wasser back!

Is Kevin Federline getting a job at a restaurant?

kevingettingjob.jpg

Kevin Federline is evidently a bit smarter than we ever thought.

Britney Spears' ex-hubby might be getting an actual job... at a Mexican restaurant. Well, there's a little more to it than that.

K-Fed wants to buy his favorite taco stand. The Mirror is reporting that Federline has asked Brit's dad, Jamie Spears, to be his business partner.

Jamie has experience running restaurants, and it will most likely be Britney's money that funds the entire project.

I guess papa Spears will do whatever it takes to get Kevin off Britney's payroll!

K-Fed to give Britney Spears visitation rights?

kevingivingkidstobrit.jpg

Kevin Federline evidently can't handle keeping up with his kids all the time. For that reason, it seems that K-Fed is ready to give Britney Spears her visitation rights back.

TMZ is reporting that Kevin is willing to let Britney see the kids as long as her parents are there and as long as the conservatorship isn't lifted.

I guess Federline thinks that Brit's dad, Jamie Spears, is doing a good job keeping her under control . That and he probably wants to get out and do some partying of his own.

Those poor kids! Maybe they should turn them over to the conservators too?!

Are parties are currently in court discussing the Federline/ Spears custody case and her chances of getting visitation back.

We'll keep you posted...

Did K-Fed really know about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy before Brit?

It sure seems that way!

Evidently Britney and Jamie Lynn's mom called her former son-in-law, Kevin Federline, to warn him that Jamie Lynn was knocked up.

Lynne Spears evidently wanted K-Fed to know, because "the media would be going crazy."

"Lynne talks with him way more than she talks to Britney," a source tells Us Weekly.

The source also makes it seem like Lynne asked Kevin to keep the news from her own daughter, Britney.

"...she asked him as a favor not to say anything to anyone. She wanted him to be prepared," the source said.

Lynne and Jamie Lynn will have made a cold million off their story from OK! Magazine (assuming they provide the mag with the first pics of the new Spears spawn).

Details magazine's “50 Most Influential Men under 45”

Believe it or not, Kevin Federline is not only on the cover of the Details magazine "50 Most Influential Men under 45" edition, K-Fed is listed at number 7 as a “Good Father.”

Kevin is featured along side the late Anna Nicole Smith's baby daddy Larry Birkhead.  He's more like hte billion dollar daddy, if his little girl Dannielynn ever gets her inheritance that is.

Inside Details, Federline says that “To be a father is… everything. It shows me how little I am.”

Awww, softy now huh PAPAZAO??  Kevin even says his house is more like a kiddy playl and than a bachelor pad.

“My TVs are pretty much G-rated right now. Anything from “SpongeBob” to “Finding Nemo,” and you know, I’m still trying to decide which one I like more.”

I can't handle it...  Is this really happening?!

K-Fed's Christmas gift for Britney: take the kids

Kevin Federline is in the giving mood this holiday season or has a blunt to smoke and chick to bang on Christmas day.  Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan has hammered out a deal with Britney Spears' counsel and Brit-Brit will get Jayden James and Sean Preston on Christmas Day.

K-Fed has custody of the couple's two boys since Britney is in the middle of her breakdown.

I wonder what Britney, the boys and their court ordered monitor will do to celebrate Christmas.  I bet they'll have best hotel room and the most Charlie Brown looking Christmas tree in all of Los Angeles.

Can't you just imagine Britney and the boys all sitting around the tree in disappointment because Santa didn't come?  I think someone should step in and stop the cruelty.  Maybe Billy Ray Cyrus cares enough to dress up as Santa with gifts in tow?

Kevin Federline has a Britney-do!

Britney Spears and her ex-hubby Kevin Federline may be a bit more alike than we ever thought we would admit.

Not only did K-Fed take a page out of Britney's book by shopping for the most random things at the most random places (i.e. electronic on Thanksgiving), but it looks like Kevin is going for the "Britney-do."

Federline was spotted on Thursday sporting a new (almost) bald look.  It looks like Kevin has jumped on the skin-head bandwagon just as Britney's hair has started to grow back.

I actually kinda like it.  As long as he doesn't let his hair grow back out like a street thug, K-Fed has the potential to look much better than I would have expected in his days as a back-up dancer.

Spears/ Federline custody case back in court Tuesday

Kevin Federline's attorney will be back in court on Tuesday to try and sideline Britney Spears.

This time Mark Vincent Kaplan is going to ask commissioner Scott Gordon to prohibit Britney from driving around when she has the kids in the car.

Paparazzi video of Britney sailing through a red light with her kids in the backseat and the court appointed monitor holding on for dear life in the passenger seat has been subpoenaed for the hearing.

On the surface, it looks like Kevin Federline is being more than fair to Britney.  I'm sure that has something to do with the fact that his spousal support is about to run out, and without the kids K-Fed doesn't have a paycheck.

See, Britney is good for something y'all.

K-Fed wants to park Britney's car!

Britney Spears just bought a new car, but if Kevin Federline has anything to do with it... she won't be driving their sons around in it.

Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan requested on Thursday that Britney be banned from driving when the boys are in the car.

But she just dropped 100,000 bucks on a new Mercedes!

TMZ.com is reporting that Britney was spotted on Thursday night zooming through a notoriously dangerous red light with her kids in the back and the court ordered monitor holding on for dear life in the passenger side seat.

The judge in on-going Britney Spears/ Kevin Federline custody case said he will rule on this on November 26th.

Britney Spears is paying Kevin Federline's court fees

Britney Spears has been ordered to pay $120,000 in legal fees for her ex-husband Kevin Federline who she has been challenging for custody of their two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The judge behind their long custody battle Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered Spears to shell out a large chunk of the $154,500 in legal fees that Federline owes to his high profile attorney, according to court papers filed Tuesday.

Gordon says he made the decision after considering several factors, including "the notable disparity between the parties' income," the ruling said.

Court papers released last week show that Spears makes roughly $737,000 per month and spends lavishly on clothes and entertainment. Meanwhile, Federline "indicates that he does not earn any income," the ruling said.

In other words, Britney is rich and blowing her money while Kevin is unemployed.

Does it get more high-profile white trash than this, y'all?

No ruling in Britney Spears custody battle

Britney Spears arrived at the court house in Los Angeles today smiling, giggling and driving a car lined with pumpkins.  Spears grew more and more upset through the deposition and eventually left the court room looking very upset.

The judge hasn't made a ruling yet.  For now, Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline will maintain full custody of the children with Spears only getting supervised visitation.

Britney didn't stop to talk to reporters, but both lawyers for Spears and Federline left their five cents.

K-Fed's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said the court was expected to issue a written ruling by Tuesday after extensive testimony was presented on a number of issues.

Sorrell Trope, who represents Spears, said "something has changed, but I can't say what." Trope claims that Britney was pleased, but he declined further comment.

Britney and K-Fed custody battle continues Friday

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will be back in court on Friday as their custody battle rages on.

Britney has limited visitation now, but Kevin has custody of the kids since Spears seems to have a problem complying with the court.

Things could get pretty heated, so the court house is pulling out all the stops and warning reporters about special security measures.

"A second weapons screen station will be set up on the eighth floor tomorrow between the elevators and Department 88. Cell phones, recording devices and cameras will not be permitted past the weapons screen or in Department 88. Reporters are urged to make other arrangements for their cell phones. Anyone who has a cell phone with them when they go through the weapons screen on the eighth floor must give it to the deputies before they will be allowed past. Deputies will then provide a claim slip, or receipt, to retrieve the phone later. Individuals who do not have business in the courtrooms on the eighth floor and do not have a seat in Department 88 will not be allowed to congregate in the hallway."

As we told you Thursday, Britney got some good news after receiving high marks in her parenting classes with Federline.

October 25, 2007

Britney scores high in parenting classes

Things may be looking for up for Britney Spears FINALLY!

It's been a while since we have been able to report some good Britney news, so we had to jump on this opportunity.

According to TMZ.com, things are going "amazingly well" for Britney and Kevin Federline's parenting courses.  Brit and K-Fed evidently met with their parenting coach Al Gibbs for two hours on Wedesnday.  TMZ's source also says it went so well because Britney likes being around Kevin.

Could K-Fed be Brit-Brit's rock?

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are back in court!

BREAKING NEWS- Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are in court even as I write to try and settle their custody case.

TMZ.com is strangely all tied up in this.  They are reporting that Britney lost custody of her kids, because she didn't comply with the court orders to present a copy of their valid driver's licenses, take counseling and submit to random drug tests.  Today, her attorney is evidently going to try and convince the judge that it was all a misunderstanding.

The famed gossip website isn't just reporting on the case, a tape that aired on TMZ was also subpeoned.  Their paparazzi photographers caught Britney driving this weekend with her kids without a valid license.

TMZ is also reporting that Kevin showed up wearing a patch on his eye?  Did Britney poke him or are the kids getting to him?

Someone is trying to kill K-Fed

Dear lord, someone is trying to kill Kevin Federline

Entertainment Tonight is reporting that someone put a hit out on Britney Spears' ex-husband.  Yes, K-Fed... the same man she is in the middle of a custody battle with!!

ET has several reliable sources that the FBI and LAPD are investigating legitimate leads on a contract hit on KEVIN FEDERLINE’s life.

Multiple sources tell ET that the FBI made attempts to contact Federline to inform him of the potential danger.

Sources within the FBI tell ET that this is the bureau’s standard operating procedure when someone’s life is threatened.

ET has been working this story for the past two months. When contacted, the FBI told us that the bureau cannot confirm or deny an investigation.

I would never suggest that Britney is trying to kill Kevin, but it does seem REALLY fishy!

Britney does appear border-line crazy these days.

K-Fed's 'secret witness' is Brit's former bodyguard

TMZ.com has confirmed with a photograph that the "secret witness" in Monday's Britney Spears/ Kevin Federline custody trial is her former bodyguard.

His name is Tony, and he can be seen with Spears in photographs taken in April and May of this year.

At this moment, Tony is still waiting to see if he will be called as a witness today. Either way, TMZ is told that his attorney, Gloria Allred, will hold a presser at the end of the day, where she will reveal his identity and about what Tony plans to testify.

Tony evidently worked with Britney while she was lip syncing her way through the House of Blues stops earlier this year.  If I had to guess Tony has seen a lot.  He is testifying for K-Fed's side, so Brit-Brit might be in some trouble!

K-Fed lands role on One Tree Hill

It isn't gossip anymore, Kevin Federline has definitely landed a role on the CW's "One Tree Hill."

“Kevin came in and (auditioned) and he did a great job,” show creator Mark Schwahn reportedly told People. “He really seemed like a sweet guy and I just felt that he would be great in that.”

The former Mr. Britney Spears will be featured in a multi-episode story line as Jason, the “cocky, enigmatic front man” of a rock band called No Means Yes, according to PEOPLE.

Schwahn says he didn't just pick K-Fed due to the fact that his name is always in the headlines.  He actually said Kevin is the right guy for the job.

“I have to honestly say he was a good fit for the character,” said Schwahn. “I don’t know anything about the kid, but he seemed very sweet and very sincere about working hard and embracing the opportunity. It’s just about being good in the role.”

If "One Tree Hill" was my show,  I wouldn't admit that even it if was true.

I still have to believe they are just milking K-Fed's publicity.  I never I would say that either!!

Court may expose K-Fed's court papers

Things aren't looking too good for Britney Spears when it comes to the court battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.  As we have reported, Federline evidently filed papers requesting full custody of his sons with Britney.

When K-Fed filed the papers he had them sealed from the media, but on Tuesday a judge agreed to hear arguments that could allow the media to be involved in the private case.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon set a September 14 hearing date for lawyers from celebrity magazine People and local television station KNBC to argue that court records should be made public.

Lawyers for Spears and Federline oppose the idea and on July 30, when the couple's divorce was finalized, their attorneys won a conditional order to keep the records sealed. That order stays in place for now.

A separate hearing on modifying the child custody arrangement was set for September 17.

K-Fed's attorney speaks out on subpeonas

Kevin Federline's high-profile attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan is speaking out about serving Britney and her assistant Alli Sims with invites to court.

“Kevin is very serious about the case he’s filed.” He continued, “I can tell you that we believe she [Alli] has been around the environment where the kids are…she’s been around and witness to many things. The deposition subpoena requires her to be cross examined by me in front of the court reporter and that’s just one step in preparing our case.”

K-Fed filed papers last week in which he evidently requested full custody of the two kids he fathered with Britney.  In addition, over the weekend he served Alli with papers so she can testify that Britney is putting the boys in danger.

This is about to get nasty!!!

Say it ain't so: Is K-Fed sleeping with Britney's mom?

Rumor has it that K-Fed is boinking Lynne Spears, Britney's mom.  Lynne may be a MILF, but how do you explain that to the kids?

Rumor also has it that Fed-Ex has a new song about screwing his former mother-in-law.

It's d-day for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's lawyers were in court Monday to finalize the divorce between the failed pop singer and the failed rapper.

Britney's attorney Laura Wasser and K-Fed's man Mark Vincent Kaplan began the proceedings in Los Angeles County court early Monday expected to end by the close of business.

TMZ.com is reporting that Wasser is asking that all of the custody and spousal support details be kept top secret.  You know, Britney, she has to be all top secret!  Ha ha ha ha!

Here's what TMZ knows: K-Fed is pulling in 15K a month from Britney for child support. He's also getting 20 grand a month in spousal support, but that's based on the prenup, and it appears the alimony gravy train will come to a screeching halt in November.

As for custody, we've learned it will stay at 50/50. It's amazing disso-queen Wasser was able to get a 50/50 custody split given Brit's craziness, which included wild partying, erratic behavior and a stint in rehab. This type of custody arrangement is typically reserved for a stable couple.

But all is not over! We're told neither Brit nor Fed-Ex are happy with the custody arrangement, and either of them can go back to court and ask for a change. On top of that, Kevin won't even speak to Spears, so they will probably be back in court asking the judge to make decisions about child rearing.

One more thing: There are reports K-Fed will go to court as early as this week to get full custody. That doesn't make a lot of sense that he'd go for broke, since our sources say K-Fed has signed-off on the 50/50 custody split. He may not be happy, but it doesn't seem he's ready for all-out war either.

More drama for Britney is brewing!

Could Britney Spears be the sane one?

For a long time, we all just assumed that Britney Spears was just crazy and eaten up with drugs and alcohol.  Now, Britney is pointing fingers at her mom, her ex-hubby Kevin Federline and her former manager Larry Rudolph.

Britney says she never had a drug or alcohol problem and that her stay at the Promises Rehab Facility was a plan that her "people" cooked up, according to TMZ.com.

Spears evidently admits she was having emotional problems after her second child was born, but strongly maintained she did not have a drug or alcohol problem.

We're told eventually the professionals believed Spears suffered from post-partum depression, made worse because she stopped taking Prozac. She was also emotionally crumbling because of a messy divorce and intense media scrutiny.

After leaving Promises, as paparazzi waited for the golden shot of Britney drinking again, she began getting angry that she was at a rehab facility in the first place. Britney and her assistant, Allie Sims, called Promises multiple times, asking for a copy of the report showing that she tested dirty for drugs and/or alcohol when she checked in.

We're told it took several days to get an answer. Only two reports were sent to Britney's rep, both showing no drug or alcohol use whatsoever. Most shocking, the first report was dated March 7, 15 days after Britney checked in.

Sources say one of Britney's reps then called the facility and asked for any evidence of a dirty test, but she was told there was nothing in the file.

Oh my goodness, is Britney actually making sense here?  As TMZ pointed out, how could a rehab facility treat a patient when they don't even know what they are treating her for??

Britney, of course, later fired Larry Rudolph.  She has also stopped speaking with her mother Lynne and even filed court papers to keep her away from Jayden James and Sean Preston (Britney's two sons).  The "Toxic" singer has also recently rekindled her feud with ex-scrub K-Fed.

June 13, 2007

More kids for K-Fed?

All the world needs is more little K-Fed's running around, after all we see well Mr. Federline takes care of the children he already has (yes, that was sarcasm).

However, it looks like Kevin has knocked up his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson once again. The former Mr. Britney Spears already has two kids with Shar.

She's into her seventh week, and at the instant I write this he doesn't know. Star magazine is saying she's hoping this brings them back together as a family. Ugh. Oy. Eee-yewww. Kevin the Insect.

You'll remember that K-Fed also has two kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, as the result of too much liquor and long nights of humping former pop tart Britney Spears.

God help all these kids!

Britney Spears wants Kevin Federline back, Kevin says no!

Star magazine is reporting that Kevin Federline may have played Britney Spears to get her to complete her rehab program.

"Britney said, 'Do you really want to do this?' and Kevin said yes. Britney replied, 'You're the biggest mistake I've ever made, but thank you for my babies,' " a source told Star.

This is compared to other mistakes such as shaving her head, flashing her vag, and doing that NBC interview with Matt Lauer.

Evidently Kevin told Britney there was a chance that the two would get back together when she was done with rehab.  Now, the two have finalized their divorce.

As we told you last month, Kevin will walk away a millionaire with 50/50 custody of their two boys Jayden James and Sean Preston.

The divorce is expected to be official later this month.

March 31, 2007

A peaceful divorce for Britney and Kevin?

Many people suspected a long drawn out battle for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline as they settled their divorce to part ways.  It looks like they were wrong.

Britney and Kevin have evidently hammered out the details of their divorce settlement, and things seem to be peaceful.

K-Fed is walking away with a cold million, and they are splitting custody of the kids 50/50, according to TMZ.  The two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, are currently staying with Kevin as Britney still adjusts to post-rehab life.

Sources say the divorce is going off so peacefully that Spears and Federline even took a break from meeting with lawyers to deck outside alone where they shared a cigarette.

It looks like rehab can bring a divorcing family together.  Britney filed for divorce from Kevin less than five months ago.  The full divorce details are expected to hit the media next week.

March 29, 2007

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline finalize divorce

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have reached an agreement on their divorce.  TMZ is reporting that K-Fed will make $1 million thanks to Britney's prenup that evidently protected her funds.

As we have reported here at GaySocialites.com before, Britney and Kevin will split custody of the two kids Sean Preston and Jayden James 50/50.

As soon a judge signs the papers, she'll just be a Spears and he'll still be K-Fed.

March 21, 2007

Britney Spears & Kevin Federline's rehab divorce talk

As Britney Spears prepared to check herself out of rehab last night, it seems she was also tying up some loose strings elsewhere in her life.

Evidently Spears met with estranged husband Kevin Federline over the weekend to put the final touches on their divorce.

For now, it looks like Britney and K-Fed plan to split custody of the kids (50/50).  Eventually Spears will have primary custody and Federline will have standard visitation rights.

No word on how much Britney will help Kevin financially.

Word is that she decided to leave the Promises rehab center a bit early so she can attend Kevin's birthday bash that has now been cancelled.

March 6, 2007
